Singer Phoebe Snow has died following complications from a brain hemorrhage in 2010.� She was 58.

Phoebe Snow passed away at the age of 58.

Songwriter and singer Phoebe Snow was a well-known performer in the 1970?s, known for her hit song ?Poetry Man?.

Snow was nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy Award in 1975.

The singer?s career was put on hold later that year when her daughter, Valerie, was born with severe brain damage.

But Phoebe made a comeback in the 1980s after recording the theme song for television shot ?A Different World?.

The performer was a regular guest on Howard Stern?s radio show, even singing at his wedding in 2008.

Snow died on Tuesday in New Jersey.� Her death is believed to be caused by her brain hemorrhage she suffered in 2010.

Snow ?fought for almost a year-and-a-half to come back, enduring bouts of blood clots, pneumonia, and congestive heart failure, each time coming out of it, until her body finally could take it no more,? her manager Sue Cameron said.
