Soundgarden reunites for new album, summer tour
It's been 15 years since the rock group has played together. The guys ? Matt Cameron, Chris Cornell, Ben Shepherd, and Kim Thayil ? have decided to take a break from the recording studio to play a few shows this summer. On Friday, fans can jump on tickets for their stops in Denver, Toronto, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. If you can't score a ticket, don't fret. More shows will be announced soon. ? Korina Lopez

New music by Steve Earle and Emmylou Harris
Fans of Emmylou Harris and Steve Earle may have to wait until Tuesday to purchase the celebrated singer/songwriters' latest albums. But you can get a "First Listen" courtesy of NPR Music, which is already streaming both. Earle's first collection of new material in four years, I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive, finds him joining forces with producer T Bone Burnett and Joan Baez, as well as Earle's wife Allison Moorer. Hard Bargain, Harris' follow-up to 2008's acclaimed All I Intended To Be, includes songs inspired by Gram Parsons, Kate McGarrigle and Emmett Till. Both are accessible at www.npr.org/music. ? The 42nd Annual GMA Dove Awards
The Gospel Music Association handed out its trophies Wednesday in Atlanta, but these days award shows are as much about the performances as the honors. So watch Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Francesca Battistelli and others during Sunday's Dove Awards telecast (7 p.m. Eastern, GMC), hosted by The View's Sherri Shepherd. Music of 'Treme'
HBO's acclaimed drama series Treme returns for its second season Sunday, and during its run, eight musical performances by artists appearing on the show will be available for purchase and download exclusively on the iTunes Store (www.iTunes.com/Treme). One video performance will be released each week following its corresponding episode for $1.99 each, along with a free video podcast that gives a detailed look at that week's artist. The first performance ?From The Corner To The Block by Galactic and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band with Juvenile.
