Michael Bubl� is off the market! The Canadian singer wed Argentine actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre in a civil ceremony in Beunos Aires, Argentina on Thursday, PEOPLE reports.The bride wore a violet dress with silver heels and the groom wore a gray suit. After the ceremony, the newly married couple posed and kissed for cameras and fans. de la Torr also threw a bouquet of purple orchids into the crowd.
But this civil ceremony was just the beginning of wedding celebrations for the pair. Bubl� and de la Torr will also host a bigger ceremony for 300 guest this weekend at a mansion outside of Buenos Aires.
Bubl� and de la Torr got engaged last November. "He designed the setting himself. He's very proud to be engaged to her," a friend tells PEOPLE.
The couple met in November of 2008. "They met at a party the record company threw for him after his show in Buenos Aires. The head of the label wanted to introduce Michael to Argentina's most famous actress. When he met her, he said it was love at first sight," the friend adds.
