Famous saxophonist Clarence Clemons suffers stroke

According to sources at Variety and Rolling Stone Magazine, saxophonist Clarence Clemons has suffered a stroke at his Florida home. It?s confirmed he?s seriously ill but his condition is known.

Clemons, 69, is the oldest member and an original member of Bruce Springsteen?s E Street Band. He?s been recording with Springsteen since the 1970s and known in music circles as one of the greatest�saxophonists ? and often referred by fans as The Big Man. While they haven?t officially hit the studio in a while, Clemons was recently in the news when he performed with Lady Gaga on her latest album Born This Way.

Clemons is also an actor having appeared in films like New York, New York and Bill & Ted?s Excellent Adventure.
