Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough Make Emergency Trip to the Vet

It was a weekend full of tears for Julianne Hough, who spent part of her Saturday at the vet with her Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Lexi, and her boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.

"First time I legitimately [bawled] my eyes out in years," the singer Tweeted on Saturday, apparently referring to the unexpected vet visit. "Being a helpless parent is the worst thing in the world!"

Neither Hough nor Seacrest have specified exactly what was wrong with her pooch, but there was definitely a lot of waiting involved. Seacrest posted a photo of himself on Twitter dozing off on what looks like a receptionist desk.

"Made a trip to the animal emergency room over the weekend," he shared.

After fans offered the Idol host their support he Tweeted, "All is ok. Thx. Upset stomach! Have a good monday."

Hough, who also has a puppy named Harley, reassured her followers that her little friend was doing ok.

"All is well in Lexi land! Thanks for all of your sweet messages! It means the world! Xoxo," wrote the Rock of Ages star.

Later, Hough shared a shot of a rested looking Lexi and said: "My Sunday date night company..... Nothing better! :)"
